Adam J Merrifield established White Lantern Film after producing a range of documentaries, entertainment programmes, and shorts for local, regional and national television. As the company's Managing Director, Adam has grown White Lantern Film into a diverse business developing a range of creative work for television and theatrical release with a strong focus on drama and documentary.
Producer credits include the ITV period drama Me Reach, ITV documentary The Royal Pier and Burning Flame; and entertainment programmes including Clubbed Up and South Central. Current factual productions include The House Whisperer, A Tale of Two Mountains and The Secret Soya Story, whilst current feature films include Circumference, Doorman and YesterdaY.
Adam also manages the company’s energetic media education training programme encouraging the next generation of media talent. Working with the UK Film Council, First Light Movies, Screen South, South West Screen and various National Lottery distributors to produce and manage a range of productions including Millennium Song, Move It and Pier Pressure.
Georgina began her career working in Dubai Media City, UAE for a variety of TV and film production companies. In this time she production managed several shoots, including Range Rovers commercials. In this time she also worked extensively as a coordinator for Gulf News.
Georgina later returned to the UK where she studied and graduated at Bournemouth University in the BA (Hons) Television Production degree. During her tenure at Europe's foremost media schools and Britain's only Royal Centre of Excellence for Media, she worked on over 20 different productions in the capacity of Production Manager, Director, Producer.
Georgina has to date produced and worked on several award winning films, dramas and documentaries throughout her career. Georgina has also taught Production Skills to a diversity of individuals and groups.
Georgina freelanced in London and Dubai before returning to Bournemouth to join White Lantern Film in May 2007. Georgina currently splits her time running 'Pier Pressure' and coordinating several of White Lantern's other TV and Film ventures.
