Get FLUSHED with Martin Stirling’s new schoolboy comedy.
The White Lantern Film team have completed FLUSHED, a short movie about Sam, a chubby adolescent boy whose greatest challenge is using the grimy school toilets.
Directed by White Lantern’s Martin Stirling, the film will be screened as part of the official selection at the Super Shorts International Film Festival in London on 4 July. Starring Danny Kirrane (History Boys) as Sam and Jo Hartley (This is England) as Mrs Mop, the film was part of the team’s South West Screen / UK Film Council TOR project. Shot over 2 intense days in Bournemouth and Brockenhurst using a HVX200, the film’s wit and comic schoolboy humour is already mopping up audiences at screenings in Bristol at the Watershed.
