A new web site to promote three unique films has been launched by White Lantern Film.
The Pier Pressure project has given over 30 young people the opportunity to write and produce their own films exploring teenage life in Bournemouth. The web site contains exclusive interviews with the young directors, a documentary following the films from script to screen and clips from the films. The site will be used to promote the films as they tour national and international film festivals and provide up-to-date information on screenings and awards.
Commenting on the site, White Lantern Film’s Managing Director said, “the site
is a fantastic window on the project which has been designed to be a simple and
effective marketing tool that will help to get the films to the widest possible
audience”.
The Pier Pressure project was funded by Media Box and the National Lottery
Awards For All. The project has given young people a unique opportunity
to comment on their lives and learn valuable new skills. Filmed
over nine days in July, each of the films will be available on the
web site later in October.
