
Adam J Merrifield established WL:Docs to support White Lantern Film's growing slate of factual content.
Producer credits include the ITV period drama Me Reach, ITV documentary The Royal Pier and Burning Flame; and entertainment programmes including Clubbed Up and South Central. Current factual productions include The House Whisperer, A Tale of Two Mountains and The Secret Soya Story, whilst current feature films include Circumference, Doorman and YesterdaY.
As the companies Execuative Producer, Adam oversees the entire slate of factual content. Working with the best talent in the region, WL:Docs aims to produce content which breaks down boundaries and inspires audiences to explore issues which are not normally represented in the UK media. WL:Docs has the unique ability to develop factual content and is vertically integrated with a range of other media based businesses to support and nurture new and emerging talent within the South West.

Robert Sharp finished a Journalism and Digital Video Production degree in London, and joined the White Lantern team in as a researcher in 2008. Robert is currently researching and supporting the development of WL:Docs range of documentaries.

Rob Brown wrote and directed ‘Family Portrait’, a short film about a terrified mother who calls 999 when her estranged husband turns up on their driveway with a gun, which was nominated for the BBC New Filmmakers Awards'05 and was broadcast on BBC TV in March'03.
Total Film and Hotdog Magazine both gave favourable reviews of the film which continues to be screened internationally.
‘Family Portrait’ later gathered many other awards nominations including the ‘Newcomer’ Award at Soho Shorts 2006 and NPA Short Film Awards before finally being chosen by renowned Film Critic and Broadcaster Mark Kermode as winner of ‘Best Drama’ at the BBC Big Screen Awards 2006.
Rob also won the same BBC award in 2008 for his film Open Skies and had a short film broadcast on BBC3 in December 2007. Rob is currently in production with Silent Things funded by the UK Film Council and developing his first feature film.

Steven Lake graduated from the Arts University Collage Bournemouth in 2009 after winning several awards for his short experimental dramas. Steven is now developing on a feature documentary, Drying For Freedom, exploring clotheslines and our freedom to dry naturally.
