Welcome to White Lantern Film, producers of award-winning film and drama.

Our BAFTA nominated team have produced and distributed award-winning short drama's, documentaries and animations for broadcast and to film festivals worldwide.

We are currently producing a slate of independent feature films including CIRCUMFERENCE by award-winning BAFTA nominated writer-director Tim Clague and CROAK written by Dan Palmer and director Christian James.

Our energetic educational media programme invigorates our artistic and creative roots. Currently we are running OUR PIER using movie magic to tell a epic history story and we are launching MY ONE WORD to bring the best new young writers and directors from the region to the screen.

Future plans include a £1.6M high-tech digital media facility; THE MEDIA BUS will deliver training, projects and creative opportunities to young people, media professional and business throughout the South West and will play a key role over the following four years as part of the 2012 Cultural Olympiad.

Award-winning director Rob Brown's new short film OPEN SKIES sees a young mother, Lara Belmont, on a beach awakes to find her child is gone. The highly provocative drama is touring International Film Festivals alongside DARKROOM which explores a young photographers moral dilemma in 1980's Belfast.

A unique short comedy, FLUSHED, is currently touring film festivals worldwide after its UK premiere at the Supper Shorts International Film Festival in London.  Starring Danny Kirrane (History Boys) as Sam and Jo Hartley (This is England) as Mrs Mop, FLUSHED is a short movie about Sam, a chubby adolescent boy whose greatest challenge is using the grimy school toilets; funded by South West Screen / UK Film Council.
