We think media is for everyone and we want to encourage as wide an audience as possible to get involved with, learn about, and use digital media to capture stories around them.

There are many ways we can help you learn... our energetic educational media programme invigorates young people inside and outside education working with organisations like the Big Lottery, Media Box and First Light Movies; our training courses develop new skills and knowledge for filmmakers; through new script development programmes such as ONE WORD we aim to inspire the best new young writers and directors from the region; and we mentor young people to help develop digital media arts projects with funders such as Media-Box, V-cashpoint and Big Boost.

Our sister company, THE MEDIA BUS, delivers mobile digital media formal and informal education and training programmes throughout the UK. Working alongside The Media Bus, White Lantern Film Education provides training, projects and creative opportunities to young people, media professional and business throughout the UK.
