Learn from people that make films

We think media is for everyone and we want to encourage as wide an audience as possible to get involved with, learn about, and use digital media to capture stories around them.

There are many ways we can help you learn... our energetic educational media programme invigorates young people inside and outside education; our training courses develop new skills and knowledge for filmmakers and artists; through new script development programmes such as ONE WORD we aim to inspire the best new young writers and directors from the region; and we mentor young people to help develop digital media arts projects with funders such as Media-Box, V-cashpoint and Big Boost.

Our future plans include a £1.6M high-tech digital media facility; THE MEDIA BUS will deliver training, projects and creative opportunities to young people, media professional and business throughout the South West and will play a key role over the following four years as part of the 2012 Cultural Olympiad.

To find out more we have all the groups education and training information in this section. If you have any questions please call us on 0844 842 5450.
